Honoring Our Legacy and Embracing the Future GMU is proud to announce an exciting evolution in our leadership team that honors our legacy while positioning us for continued success. Greg Silver, MSc, PE, GE, who has been a driving force behind GMU’s growth and excellence since 1997, is transitioning from his role as CEO and President. While Greg will step aside from day-to-day leadership, he will continue to play an active role in GMU’s future as Senior Principal/CEO Emeritus, providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic insight. We are grateful for Greg’s dedication, leadership, and vision, which have helped shape GMU into the highly respected, multi-disciplined engineering and geologic consulting firm it is today.





This transition reflects the strength of GMU’s leadership team and the deep bench of expertise within our firm. GMU will transition leadership roles to these long-standing partners. 


CEO: Aron Taylor, MSc, PG, CEG A part of GMU for 24 years, Aron has served as a Principal and Vice President for the past 14 years. As CEO, he will be responsible for continuing the company’s legacy, implementing the strategic vision, and managing a majority of the firm’s day-to-day operations.


President: Mike Moscrop, MSc, PE, GE With GMU for 20 years, Mike has spent 14 years as a Principal and Vice President, playing a key role in GMU’s operations. As President, he will work alongside Aron to help manage daily operations and project execution.


Vice President: Roger Schlierkamp, MSc, PE Roger has been a leader at GMU for 11 years, spearheading the growth of GMU’s pavement engineering division. His expertise continues to expand the firm's capabilities in pavement infrastructure solutions.


This leadership transition ensures that GMU remains in the hands of experienced professionals deeply invested in the firm’s legacy, clients, and future success.
